The work of the Christchurch City Mission is an ongoing challenge to all people, to lend a supporting hand to those discarded, abandoned or overlooked by our society.
The vital work of the Christchurch City Mission benefits from generous support from many charitable trusts and foundations, however the majority of our funding comes from individual donations and bequests from the people of Canterbury.
You can help us by supporting the Mission 's mail-outs each year and Advent, Summer, Winter, Spring and Special appeals.

Payroll Giving
Payroll Giving enables you to make donations directly from your pay and receive immediate tax credits via PAYE – in other words, you can give as you earn.
This scheme offers employees the opportunity to support the Mission each pay day.
Your donation is simply deducted from your regular pay.
· Your donation is immediately applied with a 33.33% tax rebate each pay period.
How it works
· If you donated $15.00 the actual cost to you is $10.00 but the Mission, as beneficiary, receives the full total of $15.00
· There is no requirement to receipt claims at the end of each year as the Mission, as your chosen charity, directly benefits from your donation each month.
