Measuring Our Impact

Corinne Haines, Christchurch City Missioner

I was appointed City Missioner in 2022 and, even though I was a long-standing Mission supporter, I was astounded by the breadth of activities being done to help the vulnerable people in our city of Christchurch in so many ways.

It was humbling and inspiring to discover how important this organisation is in helping to solve the day-today issues affecting so many local people and their families. Part of my role is speaking to as many groups and individuals as possible and always there is this amazement from those audiences – the same that I had when I joined the Mission – at the very many ways in which we help people.

You will have heard from us often, about the work we do, but our Impact Report 2022 brings together, statistics and stories about the positive ways donations make to the lives of the people we care for.
I personally want to thank all our supporters for trusting us with your gifts of money, goods and you time, so we can continue this 90-year journey of protecting and supporting the most vulnerable in our city.
