Connecting People with Community
Pou Tangata Service - connecting with community
Helping people get back on track.
Our kaimahi is here to support and connect people with the wide range of social services available in Canterbury and by walking alongside individuals, families and whānau, advocating for them until they are connected with supports and services that work for them.
Kaimahi can provide a broad range of supports to those in hardship including ensuring people can access physical and mental health services, supporting direct provision of food, assisting access to culturally appropriate services such as kaupapa Māori supports, and helping people to access employment.

Tautoko Hauora - connecting with health and wellbeing
The Tautoko Hauora service supports people who are not enrolled in general practice or who are enrolled but are not visiting their general practice teams as often as they need to.
Our Kaitautoko can support people to access primary health care and social services in Canterbury. They are a mobile service who can carry out home and community visits when appropriate.
